Perfect solution for under the stairs
Comments about Beam 24w 16d 48.25h Bookcase
We ordered one 48", one 63 ", and one 78" bookcase with some inserts to add storage for under our stairs. The result could not have been better. It looks built-in and as if it was designed for the space. The flexibility hat the Beam bookcase series allows for design is great. #sweepstakes
Customer service throughout the whole process was also really helpful (we have an old house with some wonky vents and wanted to make sure that it would be able to fit).

Beam Bookshelf - White - Great purchase for my client
Comments about Beam 24w 12d 78h Bookcase
These bookshelves are fantastic! The design is clean, modern, and visually light, yet they are incredibly sturdy and holds an impressive number of books. I love that they provide so much storage without making the room feel crowded or heavy. The quality is exactly what I expect from Room & Board, and they look beautiful in the space. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic service and delivery! The delivery team arrived ahead of schedule, but I couldn't meet them immediately at my client's home. They were incredibly patient and gracious about waiting for me. Once inside, they carefully brought the bookshelves to the correct room and positioned them exactly where I needed them. The entire experience was professional, accommodating, and seamless. Excellent service from start to finish!

So stylish
Comments about Beam 36w 16d 78h Bookcase
So be advised, you and a partner will have to work together to get this mounted to the wall. But it is a fabulous looking bookcase to display books, records, and pottert. It is even a good depth for our stereo and record player. #sweepstakes

Looks great, delivered well, easy setup, not strong enough
Comments about Beam 36w 12d 92.5h Bookcase
I'm 90% satisfied. It looks good, delivery was smooth, and setup wasn't too hard. The shelves just don't support that much weight without bowing in the middle. I'm not exactly loading it down fully with books, either. It seems really just suited to a small number of books and otherwise, knickknacks. So that's too bad. But I can make do.
Delivery was professional and quick.

Love these bookshelves
Comments about Beam 36w 12d 92.5h Bookcase
I hemmed and hawed for months over what bookshelves to get for my office, but I kept coming back to these Beam bookshelves from Room & Board. I finally pulled the trigger, and I love them. They've transformed my office in the best way. My only regret: I should have purchased these a year ago.
Great service and delivery

Form meets function with flexibility!
Comments about Beam 36w 16d 78h Bookcase
We saw this in the SF showroom and loved this system. We live in a small home so good use of space is important. My husband's office is in the living room and we wanted something that had a small footprint, looked nice, would allow him to work comfortably, and be easy to "hideaway" when we have guests over. This system fits the bill. We bought ours in walnut to match our other darker wood furniture in walnut and teak. It's very customizable; we purchased the drop down for a desk and the file drawer inserts to create my husband's work space. He loves it and so do I. #Sweepstakes
Delivery was great. Service has also been great.

Ikea quality at a room and board price
Comments about Beam 36w 12d 92.5h Bookcase
The veneer quality is bad, the seams are clearly visible. The 36" version is not strong enough to hold books with out the shelves bowing immediately much less able to hold up over time.
Delivery was great, service is fantastic, always impressed with Room & Boards professionalism.

Elegant, low-profile bookcase
Comments about Beam 24w 12d 78h Bookcase
High quality construction and materials. We needed something for a dark passthrough space. The open layout of the shelves doesn't make the space feel too dark or crowded and the location of the vertical beams on the sides eliminates the need for book-ends. #sweepstakes

Quality issues with veneer delamination and missing part
Comments about Beam 36w 16d 78h Bookcase
The metal frame itself is excellent quality, but the shelves have a thin wood veneer that had already delaminated in a couple places at the time of delivery. Room & Board continues to shift away from solid walnut to veneered products, and the quality decline is obvious to any long-term customer. I was able to patch the shelf with wood glue, but that would not have been necessary 5 or 10 years ago.
The bookcase was also missing one of two leveling feet at delivery, so the frame base got scratched between production and delivery, and I am awaiting the missing part before I can install and use the bookcase at all.
