Room and Board went above and beyond to take care of my creaky bed dilemma! They were in constant contact in trying to find someone in my area to try to correct the problem but when that turned out to be too time-consuming, they just replaced the bed! It is absolutely perfect, I love everything about it and no creaks!!

Beautiful bed, looks fabulous in our room. Unfortunately it creaks, like really creaks. Even if one of us turns over in our sleep it creaks. I own over 25 pieces of Room and Board furniture and I've never had an experience like this. Not sure what to do now!

The Hale King bed is a perfwect addition to our home and Primary bedroom. It has a modern canopy style frame that looks perfect with our soft contemporary decor!

Product overall seems fairly well made, however the stain was applied poorly, specifically around and/or under corners where two boards meet. So there are areas that do not have any stain applied at all. The side board hook and brackets needed shimming as the mounting brackets were cut too deeply and the bed would not stay assembled. If quality control was improved, I would consider this to be a good choice albeit a bit overpriced for what it is.

Most of my home is from Room and Board. Coveted the Hale bed for years. Finally decided to purchase after negative experiences with poor quality queen bed frames from two other well-known national retailers. The Hale bed was worth the wait and has beautiful details! Super happy with the purchase.

This is a beautiful bed and really serves as a great centerpiece to any bedroom, but it unfortunately does not meet the standard of quality that I've come to expect from Room & Board. A few standout issues 1. The delivery team had an exceptionally difficult time assembling this bed and had to call for backup. The slight angle in the frame seems to be what confused them. 2. The bed is not particularly sturdy. The frame wobbles and squeaks in some places, but the real problem is with the headboard. Now this may just be the result of a poor job by the delivery team, but the headboard is not tightly bolted to the frame. This means that it shifts back and forth (about half an inch) and wobbles when getting into bed or lightly bumped (you can hear loose bolts). I've owned an architecture bed prior to this and the quality, fit, finish and durability is night and day, with the architecture bed having never had any issues.

So disappointed. Waited a very long time. Paid in advance. Will not hold my mattress which has fit every prior queen bed I've have owned recently. No one seems to know why not, but the inside dimensions of the bed are 59 and 3/4 inches, no sixty. Not sure why staff does not know how wide this bed frame actually is.

Excellent bed for my older parents.

The headboard is smaller than the rest of the bed so when you look at it straight on it looks like the wrong size headboard is attached. It also causes the posters to lie at a non parallel angle. It's a little weird.
