well constructed and fashionable

the base of the table is gorgeous but the top is a pointed wood and it's thin both the wood and the paint....for the price it seems as if they could have just done a fiberglass top to match the base...I'm a little disappointed.

This table comfortably seats four with bar stools and is so stylish with great construction. It provides a varied height for my condo's dining area and looks great with all my other Room & Board items in the same wood and steel options. It's steady and sleek and ads beautiful dimension to my home. #sweepstakes

While I like the table very much., there was obviously an initial problem at the factory to attach the top to the base. There are many extra rough holes that were drilled into the underside. Very disappointing that R&B would allow this to pass quality control. Many delivery delays. Took 4 months.

Love everything about this table. I have been looking high and low for a counter-height table to work with my old counter stools. This Aria table is perfect for my family. We plan to spend a lot of time playing various games on it while eating some great snacks, too! Joy, who was our Room and Board salesperson in the Atlanta location, was extremely helpful and really cool to work with. She had lots of creative ideas that led us to picking the right table for our home. We will definitely purchase from Room and Board again in the near future.

I purchased this for a small corner nook that is labeled dining area on my condo floor plan. With it being in same general space as my living room, it needed to blend with previous furnishings. It is a great shape for gathering and Im glad I went with the 42 inch round. I had 6 stools that squeeze side by side around if playing a board game but generally leaving just four around it for day to day use.

We currently are using this table for casual dining (with stools) or a place to set food/drinks in our basement when hanging out with larger groups. From top view, it looks very nice and the butcher block on stainless stand (our choice) matches with the decor of our stools and surrounding woods. Our main negative is on the finish. The wood top is held together with a ~3' piece of wood so that it doesn't warp during delivery. The producers also stain the product around this wood. When the delivery/installers arrive, they remove this wood and place it on the stand, having to drill new screw holes. If you view the bottom of the table, there are ~8 random screw holes and a huge rectangle of unstained wood. Yes, it's on the bottom of the table so it's not a big deal but at bar height, those sitting below can see it. In the end, we are keeping it but if we had similar options or competitors, we probably would have chosen differently.

I bought Aria counter height table with a solid walnut top a couple of years back and and during this, time under normal use, the top had warped significantly. The top is engineered poorly. There is no bracing of any sort to control warping that is bound to happen when very narrow wooden planks are used in laminating the top. The top arrived in a contraption, I believe to keep it straight during warehousing and transportation, that was removed and screwed on to the table base. After removing this bracket, there were big screw holes that were raised and visible (removing a screw lifts up material and creates crater-like areas) . Although underneath those holes are unsightly and visible especially on counter and bar heights (if you are sitting on a lounge chair looking at the table you end up looking underneath the table).

Breakfast nook table, adjacent to open kitchen. Great place for guests to sip wine and socialize with me while I do food prep in kitchen.
