Beam

Received and installed our beam bookcase. Many scratches and dings where you could see the natural wood. It's just a thin veneer. The ends of some shelves were not properly stained and finished so they look like water damage. Stain inconsistent. For over $5000, I expected MUCH more.

I love the look of this product. Unfortunately, nearly every piece I initially received had scratches, dents, or issues with the finish. Replacement pieces still had issues and I finally gave up and just asked for compensation. Customer service and the local store have been nice to work with, but in my area it's been a minimum 2 week turnaround to receive a replacement product and I could not have my living room torn up anymore.

We purchased two Beams to match our Linear Media Cabinet. Based on our previous experience with Room & Board we felt comfortable with this decision. We were not disappointed. The Beams matched perfectly and look amazing. It all blends together seamlessly making our media center look both unique and stylish. If you're considering designing your own center utilizing the wide array of choices available at Room & Board don't hesitate. You will be glad you did

The modular shelf and cabinet insert look great as a console under a bedroom television at the moment. When we move and have a bit more space I'll definitely add to it from the same line, so many good looking options!

The shelf fits the space well & is modern in design. The shelves are not as well done as the the chrome portion.

this is a really nice bookcase. It is good quality and easy to install and has a nice minimalist design. However, it would be better if the shelves could be moved to allow for whatever might want to be displayed.

I bought this for storing my record player and a few records and the only reason why I'm giving any stars is because it works. However, it's a very basic shelving system, the dark stain still looks pretty brown and not as dark as the website shows. I docked stars because I bought this item for pick up at a delivery center (why would I pay half the item cost in delivery fees) and went to pick up the shelving system, got home, and realized it was assembled incorrectly. Very inconvenient because I was in the middle of a move so when I moved to another state with the incorrectly assembled item, I contacted Room and Board and had to pay additional costs in taxes due to the new delivery address. I explained the situation and no one even offered a discount or anything due to the mistake they had made.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently purchased shelving from Room and Board, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The quality of the shelving is exceptional, reflecting the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Room and Board is known for. Not only is the design sleek and modern, but it's also incredibly sturdy and functional. Assembly was a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided. The shelving has transformed my space, providing ample storage while adding a touch of elegance to the room. If you're in the market for high-quality furniture that combines style and durability, look no further than Room and Board. Highly recommend!

Easy to install. Doesn't wobble. Looks nice. Low profile.
