We spent a long time trying to find a comfortable sofa bed option for guests in our small home office room. This is far more comfortable than classic pull outs, is consistent across the bed, and it being elevated (vs other fold out options that rest on the floor) is a dealbreaker for aging parents. As a sofa it is on the stiffer side, which is nice for an office/second space but might be less appealing if it is your every day lounge sofa. #sweepstakes

Probably one of the best sofa beds we came across in our months long search. The couch is firm and it comes in handy if your guests need firm back support while sleeping. We've had guests sleep on it daily for 2 weeks with a mattress topper and they love it. We probably could get by without a topper as well. The cushions are also more on the firmer side, but incredibly cozy. It's just based on 1 month's use, however, it feels like the firmness now will help to extend the life of the couch.

Pros: The Oxford is nice looking and it is super-easy to pull out into a bed. There are no seat cushions to remove and it takes up less room than a traditional sofa bed because the couch is one half of the bed. I could imagine pulling it out just to use as a group chaise while watching TV. The Brava Camel fabric is beautiful and soft. Cons: It is very, very firm, which is good for sleeping but does not make for a comfy couch. The back cushions come over stuffed so rather than sink into them you sort of bounce off them. R&B promises that they get softer over time and the ones in the store do seem softer. I tried moving the cushions aside and just leaning back on the back of the couch, but the back of the couch is low so that wasn't so comfortable either. Also be aware that only one person can get in and out of the bed easily. Summary: I think I could have lived with it, but others in my family insisted that a couch had to be comfortable as a couch. We are exchanging it for the Berin. We are very grateful that we can exchange it even though we chose a custom fabric.

High quality. Our guests said it was very comfortable to sleep on.

After discussing the issue in my previous review with Room and Board, they were able to quickly schedule an upholstery repair service. The repairmen were professional and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to repair it on the spot without me having to send the couch off somewhere. This experience makes me feel better about choosing Room and Board. They stand behind their products and will make things right.

It's attractive and we like how it pops up instead of folding out but it's not a good sofa for a den or anywhere to sit for long.

We had the smaller version of the Oxford sofa for at least 7 years with frequent usage and daily naps during covid. We loved it so much that we decided to have it replaced in July 2025 with the exact same fabric and color, but this time in the bigger 91' size. When the new one arrived, the pull out side was noticeably much more firm than the seat side, but we didn't think anything of it. It was also harder to pull out than before. We used to straps to pull out the pop up part but it wouldn't come out all the way using only the straps; we had to grab on to the front part to get it all the way out which isn't ideal since you can feel all the staples while trying to do this. Within the last few months the couch has started to shift and squeak. Tonight, one of the wood pieces running from the front of the couch towards the back on the pull out half of the couch popped out. It's underneath the fabric so we can't tell yet if it's fully broken or just popped out of place. Extremely disappointed because this couch has lasted for less than 1 year and we're not really sure what to do next. Our habits and daily usage is less than the previous couch so in theory it should last longer than the last one.

I moved from a large house to a duplex in a retirement community. I wanted the small den also to serve as a guest room but there wasn't space enough for a standard fold-out sleeper sofa. The Oxford looked like the perfect answer to that problem...and it is. And though I would have preferred the queen, the full serves the purpose. As a sofa, it's fairly firm and I was a little worried it might be too firm for some people as a bed so I bought a down-alternative pillowtop topper for it. I recently had guests who slept on it for 5 nights and said it was very comfortable and that they slept well. The only minor issue I have with it (and it's my issue, not the sleeper sofa's) is that I have LVT flooring that's a bit slippery. When pulling it out into a bed I need to hold it back with one arm to keep it from sliding across the floor. With carpeting that wouldn't happen. I need to get some non-skid pads for the feet.

The Oxford Track Arm pop up platform queen sleeper is our new TV room piece. It's comfortable and the blue upholstery is beautiful. Delivery was smooth. They opened it up so we could check everything and positioned it perfectly in the room. It's a great sofa that should last. It's a solid piece!

Modern , functional , great quality and construction. Highly recommend if you are looking for sofa bed. Not cheap quality.
